To that end - I don’t expect Heath to change one bit because Murphy never changed. These coaches think if I tweak this or that in my system everything will work out . I expect more NBA style ball next year. Our only hope is for Heath to resign. The only thing I believe could get me excited about next season would be a coach comin in with fundamentals and having players who want to embrace fundamental play. I believe Noah would adapt and play well in a fundamental system. If Emoni and Acuff also aligned on playing in a fundamental system then our elite guard play would lift this team.
Sorry to say but it’s very poor coaching and a couple things I’m just not going to post publicly right now.
That is so funny, I just had the retrospective thought to add one more point about my confidence in Coach Heath to change by and improve. So are you knocking this down to 80% agreement? You might be right and I am just being hopeful. And we and the players are in for 3 years of misery. Or I am right and things get turned around. I am ok with differing opinions and discourse. I just really believe in being respectful to the players. They are repping our alma mater to the best of their ability.

Luckyone is so right when he says EMU players lack fundamentals. As seeing Heath repeatedly correct players during a game, shows me he is not instilling fundamentals in team practices.
From watching games, it's apparent that Heath favors Emoni as manifested by his not correcting Emoni during a game, but instead repeatedly pulling other players when mistakes are made. Such has a corrosive effect on the team.
Unless Heath changes his approach, EMU's bb future is bleak.
Ramy's comments are right-on as well. As looking to player's faults misses the mark.
Don't like seeing poster other posters commitment to EMU bb. . As posters here love EMU and provide very insightful bb comments. No one should claim otherwise.

For EMU to make the MAC tourney (not at all likely), they probably need to run the table with these final 4 games, AND have Central go 2-2. CMU lost at home to Ohio today and BGSU lost at home to Toledo to keep the shot at the Eight Seed alive. But Miami won on the road at NIU and WMU won at home against Ball St. So they are now in the mix and needing to if they run their tables.
Here are the remaining schedules for those in contention for the highly coveted Eight Seed. Let the race begin.
CMU (5-9): @Buffalo, VsNIU, VsToledo, @WMU
BGSU (4-10): @Miami, VsKent, VsEMU, @Ohio
EMU (3-11): VsWMU, VsBallSt,@BGSU, @NIU
WMU (3-11): @EMU, @Akron, VsMiami, VsCMU
Miami (3-11): VsBGSU, VsOhio, @WMU, @Buffalo
