This will likely affect me, as I have a ticket to the NMSU vs. Abilene Christian game on Wednesday (night before our game at UTEP).

From Jeff Goodman: “BREAKING: The new allegations involving the New Mexico State program involve multiple players hazing a teammate on more than one occasion, source told @Stadium.

Police report was filed in the last 24 hours. That triggered the indefinite shutdown of the program.”

Considering that bammer basketball just sailed on after one of their players murdered a woman (now their not-yet-imprisoned players are "overcoming adversity"), this has got to be Biblically bad (and the "not related to the shooting" is probably only due to very fine splitting of hairs). Could even be CUSA-withdraws-invitation bad. It was so bad that NMSU felt they couldn't even let their team come back from California first.

Glad to be exiting the CUSA dumpster fire.

I get hazing goes on but slapping a guy on his bare butt and touching his junk is just strange.
