Congrats to usm on the win. Great atmosphere and great hospitality as always. I feel like our fan bases are similar. Yours is just a little bit bigger and passionate. My trips to Hattiesburg never end up good game wise but I really enjoy it overall. Here’s to seeing y’all again in the tourney.

Last night shows what USM can bring to a conference. The last decade beat us down on a lot of levels (thanks largely to self-inflicted wounds and wandering in the CUSA 3.0 wilderness) but joining the SBC has coincided with a definite upswing in our athletic programs. Or is it coincidence? Being in conference with fans that are engaged and care, and being wanted in that conference, makes a lot of difference.

No explaining it. But I will state emphatically that the incompetence was clearly displayed on both ends of the court.
