Never an option. He's a punk OSU fan. Where does he think ADs come from? The best ones all started somewhere. But clearly you guys upped your position in coming here. And your athletic department was a big part of that. They're getting a guy with vision.

Not to mention you got bowl eligible and won in football, hosted a regional baseball tourney, and are sitting at the top of basketball with a phenomenal record. Can't think of a better example of an G5 athletic department that a Ball State would want to emulate.

MAC guy just doesn't understand how bad CUSA was. He should have a clue due to the fact that Western Kebtucky tried to bolt and go to the MAC. But, I'm guessing he's just more of a troll hoping to stir up some drama.

Obviously this was directed towards our professional trolls looking for this type of situation. I understand some of you don't like to engage. But I figured a few people would go put him in his place just for fun.

This is the same guy that said Marshall sucks and there was no way we would beat all 4 MAC schools on our schedule. You gotta love guys that double down on being wrong.

Dude is a known troll, its not worth time responding. You'll just start a flame war on the MAC board. And frankly, we appear to be getting along with the MAC pretty well right now as a league.

That guy’s opinion doesn’t move the needle for anything in my world. I don’t care. Sun Belt and Southern Miss are strong brands. Jeff is a heckuva guy who will be successful.

He's not worth your time responding to. The MAC board doesn't have any active mods so there are a couple of trolls that have free range there. A few active members tried petitioning to get us mods, but nothing came of it. I hope you guys know this person's opinion isn't a reflection of what our board thinks of the Sun Belt.

There's an acronym for folks like that. Lord help us when it makes the chart.

And no offense to the MAC board or those who come over here from there to see what we're talking about, I have no reason to be over there. Until USM is playing a MAC school in a sport that I watch (football and baseball mainly) I'm not wandering over there. We pick up playing one of them in one of those, I'll go over and see what's up with their team. I still stumble over the CUSA/AAC boards from time to time but it's a quick glance and proceed on to the house... But most of my time is split between here and the Spin Room.
