RE: SBC Softball
Bad start for the Dukes. I personally think it's way too early to draw much from one day, especially the first day back to actual games since tragically losing a teammate, but there is some growing concern from JMU fans. A down year last year already raised concern that the recent success was more Mickey Dean's recruits than Laporte's recruiting or coaching and this start fired those right back up on our board... But we'll see how they look as the season progresses, likely a very emotional day today for these girls.

SBC site is a wee behind. They haven't posted either of the TXST games yet

For the most part we are over the name thing. The war is over and Louisiana is the victor. It’s mainly in-state folks or various beat writers/media outlets that get some heat from us. A good bit of people on here refer to us as ULL and you really don’t hear us ***** anymore.

I’d imagine Coach Glasco or Dr. Maggard scheduled it. We run ruled them 12-0 too.

USA lost to Louisville in extra innings behind untimely errors and took a lead on #6 Northwestern into the 7th but dropped that game as well. Hopefully we can get one today.

USM's DH (1 each vs Seton Hall and Samford) for today has been cancelled due to weather. Seton Hall was scheduled to fly back home in the morning so our single game vs Samford on Sunday is now a DH

I am assuming the schedule on the SBC site is messed up since they posted it so late.
CCU was not on it yesterday but their scores are there today, and Texas State's results are still not posted.

Hopefully they get it together soon.

Guilty as charged. I will try not to do so in the future, but old habits are hard to change.

RE: SBC Softball
Schedule a little bit of a mess today

They had GS vs TBA - never played, apparently
They have App vs Queens, twice, but only the first game has been played. 2nd was schedule for noon.
Cancelled games (so far)
JMU vs Indiana St & Chattanooga (SBC site lists College of Charleston but the JMU website lists Chattanooga, plus a 3rd game vs ISU. What a zoo.)
Troy vs Belmont
Both of USM's games (as previously posted.)

Trying to keep track, as best I can. They're not making it easy.

No doubt! And we can take it too! It honestly makes everyone look petty that use it, but it is what it is.
