If the I64 was straight? Yes, 3 hours. It takes 4.5 hours to get to JMU from Huntington.

Man, that's a lot of schools to cycle through the Sun Belt really.

Ugh…yes, a good reminder of all the changes the SBC has gone through…or better put, grown past.

Every Conference experiences growing pains and “morphs” as it matures. The SBC is just now hitting its stride, and with a great Commissioner (Gill) leading the charge, the SBC is poised for some major successes in the coming decade.

Already the SBC’s media presence is improved, the media $$$ is growing, the signature wins by FB this past season has begun to rock the P5 bias that exists, and continued success in baseball and the newly established soccer group is primed to make the SBC a major force in college D1 competition.

It’s crazy!

Went from #10 conference hanging by a thread and laughed at, to 3 way tie for “P6” with AAC and MWC, seemingly outta nowhere!

You're right. Marshall fans only see two P5 programs on that list. Kentucky and South Carolina.
