Sam Houston State vs. Seattle U

Jan. 28th – Saturday

Utah Valley vs. New Mexico State

Wow, this board has been dead the last two days. Hopefully someone will have something to say after tonight's games.

Sorry Pete, we’re waiting to hear all the news from the WAC/ASun FBS football league. Just waiting for the SFA coach or a UNA message board poster to spill the beans before ESPN does!

I, too, noticed the board being quiet. Mid-season woes? Sad news at SFA? Or, we are tired of silly disagreements when we need to be debating with more civility. Mostly likely a combination of all of these plus no new information about that hot topic of expanding, declining, or new conferences -- or none of the above.

RCI, what is the sad news at SFA? For me, I just have not had the free time to paruse. BTW, being that you are not playing Tarleton tonight I guess I can wish you luck!

Two SFA athletes lost their lives in a traffic accident is what I heard. Very sad for all of us. Check my misspelled Condolences post.

I predict their MBB will beat us handily tonight.

Well, IF ACU were to beat GCU, now would be the time to do it while being at home and they have several starters out and are beat up after UVU. No predictions though...

UTA playing with CBU, down by 5 at the half. Good game so far.

Mags kept it close, loose to CBU 66-74.

First I have heard of it, that is very sad indeed. Puts things in perspective. With that being said, and on a lighter note, beat up on GCU good tomorrow so we have a chance on Saturday! And by the way, I give you 5 demerits for the spelling faux pas.

Deserved demerits ... my fingers and my head are not always in sync. I make lots of errors typing; it is maddening.

You guys are still stacked and talented. It won't be an easy game. It should be a good game though and I hope for a clean competitive one. It is nice to finally see GCU come to Abilene. Not sure if many Lopes will be able to travel. At least the bad weather has moved on.

I think we all have that problem...brain works faster than the fingers!

Why can’t we play like this on the road?
