Man it's funny to think about how not that long ago almost all of us JMU fans would've much rather had CUSA or MAC than Sun Belt

I predict we pull away a bit next year when our top 1 or 2 are more around where Tulane was.

I know there were other reasons than money but I will say it was not a good look for the conference today for Marshall to lose their DC to Tulane for the same position.

It was a combination of money and he is from Louisiana.

If it makes you feel better we poached our OL coach from UAB last year, who is now moving on to Louisville/

We just poached our new CB coach from North Texas where he held the same position... After USF poached our CB coach to go serve the same position there

And we're the only ones that pulled those numbers against this iteration of conference teams. That will change for both CUSA and AAC when they are playing each other in conference. May be harder for UTSA to run the table in the AAC, for instance, and easier for Liberty to give teams a black eye in new CUSA vs an independent schedule, plus all the FCS schools will expect to be JMU but we know that is usually not the norm and they may have more growing pains.

We poached our OC from ua'sb. Some of you who saw us play this year might think, "So what?" but he was running pro style with air raid players. This recruiting cycle has been nothing but size/strength.

Definitely a Louisiana guy. He is coming home for sure. He knows everyone around the state and just makes sense.

Yeah no reason to get excited. The metric has been changed to # of people in proximity to campus who don’t care about x college and isn’t likely to change.
