And it's almost as if y'all travel a lot better for baseball relative to football. Hotel prices in SMTX have been noticeably higher than when we hosted y'all in football and higher than some marquee schools we've hosted in football as well.

D1Baseball's predicted order of finish, with bolded teams projected to be in regionals. Can't finish the West Division without a subscription.

EAST DIVISION
1. Georgia Southern
2. Coastal Carolina

3. Old Dominion
4. Georgia State
5. Marshall
6. James Madison
7. Appalachian State

WEST DIVISION
1. Southern Miss
2. Texas State

FWIW, baseball season ticket sales are now less than 200 remaining with speculation that the cut-off point is 4000 due to having to set aside several hundred for each team's pass list (my guess is 100 for visiting team and then probably 200 for USM team). As well I would think we set aside another 100-250 for visiting team fans. Last year for regionals and super regionals at our place our maxed out capacity was around 5300 or so and that left little to no room to move in the standing room only area down the right field line and behind the right field fence (aka Right Field Roost)

I’m feeling a little lawless today, so finishing the west for you. Well, lawless, plus it was forcing you to leave out the best team and the 5th one projected to host a regional.

04-cheers

5 Sun Belt teams in the Regionals. Anyone calls the Sun Belt mid major in baseball we should riot at their place. Though if 5 teams get in and ODU isn't one of them again they might riot.

The five bolded teams are ones that made a regional last year. D1Baseball projects 4 regional teams: Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, Texas State, Louisiana

I think we'll (GS) be improved on pitching staff, but we lost a couple of key bats in the top of the lineup that are going to be hard to replace.

ODU’s RPI was 40, they won 41 games and hit 128 homers. I’m not sure how much of a step forward you expect from a season like that, but I’d recommend looking to other teams to take that step up.

41 wins? Phooey, the committee laughs at that laziness. Now if you had won 32 and played in the SEC, you'd be hosting material.
