Drummond had 2 recs for 12 yds and a kick return for 19yds. I didn't watch so don't if the kr was any better than a touch back. One of the holes is kick returner so the fact he's getting reps there over the other WRs is a good sign they're giving him a good shot.

Matt really wants to play football and I desperately hope he sticks with the Falcons. He might be the fastest football player of the Creighton era and his punt block touchdown against D2 Central Connecticut State certainly saved a season.

He has the ability and desire to be a Don Beebe II, a special team's player that had a great career for the Buffalo Bills. Fingers crossed for him, Matt is soon going to be 26 years old and the clock is ticking.

Drummond has some better odds because of a surprise retirement by the Lions kick returner:

Hate to say it but I think Dylan might have "dropped" his way off the team today. Two catchable passes ended up on the carpet and the Lions are signing free agent receivers. I hope I am wrong.

Curious about Ryland. He only got to kick one of the thee extra points for the Patriots yesterday. Kinda strange to let a veteran kick over a drafted rookie. If they cut Chad I hope the Lions pounce on him.

First game I read he had a total of 3 snaps so that's not encouraging.

I kind of expect the same thing. I think Dylan had a chance to make the team after all the rave reviews from practice, and then some injuries at the WR spot, and JAMO's suspension. Unfortunetly he hasn't done a whole lot in the preseason games.
