Wishes for today's game
Not necessarily in order of preference.
1. Treasure possessions. To me that means crisp passes. Favor keeping the ball over attempting a risky highlight reel play. Staying in control. And no silly moving screen fouls 25 feet from the basket (I know we've just had a handful of these, but one is too many in my opinion).
2. Take in-rhythm, within-the-offense threes. Realize that you're not a great 3 point shooting team and give yourselves the best chance to sink them when the opportunity is presented.
3. Haynes and Seymour avoid picking up silly fouls or touch fouls. This is particularly true if Taylor and Jancek are still out. Treasure your fouls and do not waste them, just like possessions.
4. Justice to get in the game. He is a good player and he's been a bright spot for this team most of the season. But (and you knew there would be a "but") he is surrounded by good players, he is still young and still has much to learn. I hope the stuff happened Wednesday is just an aberration.
5. 70% free throw shooting.

All totally good goals. If we accomplish most of those then we all know we can beat any team in the SoCon.

I'm just hoping we have more than five players dressed out and available.
