Hopefully having a bunch of good sized schools, with decent fan bases, in a tight geography will improve attendance at games for everyone. As the rivalries grow over time it should get better. Nice to have opposition fans at games for a lot of reasons.

A&T is a DANGEROUS team. You can see why they are so up and down, but they were tremendously physical, have a very impressive freshman big man, and can really shoot the ball. When those threes are dropping, look out.

If Siddle was their coach they would have won. Very undisciplined on offense with no real strategy and didn't hit the boards. You could really see the difference in the ball and player movement of UNCW vs A&T during that game. As much as we complain about our ball movement, theirs was non existent.
OTH, their defense, trapping and double teams in the post were really good. Kept them in the game and they suffocated White all night long. Great game plan.

Interesting comment especially when we seem to get into trouble is when we don't use an offensive game plan

RE: UNCW at A&T 1-7-23
We blew a 15 point lead and didn’t put them away. We were like 2-15 from 3 as well. Credit the Aggies for very aggressive and physical defense but we have to be tougher. We have to learn from this and get better.
We have to continue to stress rebounding, offensive flow and defense. Enoh getting his feet wet yesterday is telling because I’m sure the coach felt it is getting hard-hat time of year.
The Aggies will go on to get their share of wins this year if they defend like they did yesterday. People talk about their shot selection but if Woods goes 6-9 from 3 while being defended on all but 1 of them, not sure there is a real answer because we didn’t really have a bad switch match although we lost connection 2-3 times.

That's known as getting hot. Can't rely on great shooting nights every night like that. And it wasn't just him. Pull up jumpers in the face of a defender are always available so try to get the easier shot with passing and movement first. That's the same for UNCW and every other team.
