Dominant. Should have one by more with a decent whistle.

RE: Bearcats at Shockers
There were 4 fouls called on Wichita between 59 seconds and 50 seconds left in the game.

They were called for 3 other fouls the remaining 39:51 of the game.

Wichita is awful. Still a big win for UC.

If the obvious foul on DeJulius to end the half would have been called two tenths of a second later UC wouldn’t have shot a free throw the entire game.

Lmfao. It's a good thing uc was this dominant. Uc got a Cintas center style road whistle tonight

Bolded, we'll be trading up but it was always a game where there was great energy from both teams and passionate basketball fans. Just having fans present at all for American Conference road games was the exception not the rule.

Bolded, an excellent statistic that corroborates what I've believed for years. Home cooking is alive and well with officials and if someone charted every game over the course of a season I bet something close to this ratio would hold.

Do teams actually foul more when they put on road uniforms? I doubt it. Are officials letting the fan reaction dictate the foul calls? I hope not. I believe it's a problem for college basketball but I guess the rationale is in most conferences teams play home and home and it all evens out. Thankfully, the postseason is on neutral courts.

Takes some of the sting out of the temple loss. Couldn't start 0-2 on the road in conference. Now they have a road win and a key home win against a Tulane team that is finally healthy and seems to be playing well.

UC has played 10 home games and 3 away games (3 neutral site).

UC has committed 248 fouls
Opponents have committed 255 fouls

UC has shot 266 free throws
Opponents have shot 271 free throws

So despite the 10 to 3 home vs away schedule, the fouls and free throws are virtually the same.

Yeah. Haven't seen them this year or heard anything about them. Sucks how far they've fallen.

Wonder if with the exodus of UC, Houston, UConn, and UCF if they are regretting coming to the AAC. Obviously the money is better than the MWC but next year’s conference won’t even be recognizable compared to the one they joined five years ago.

They may be more regretting the loss of Gregg Marshall. They are 38-27 since. Next year they will be in the type of conference they were meant to be in.

Yeah...thats about it. They are likely quadrupling their conference disbursements, so they aren't regretting a thing.

Wichita has a Koch brother on the arena, impressive backing for a small town brand. I wouldn't hate seeing the rivalry continue.

Wes has gotten better as an offensive coach
