MBB Standings Question
On caasports.com this morning, the bottom four in the mbb standings appear as …

W&M 0-1 5- 9
HAMP 0-2 3-11
MON 0-1 1-13
ELON 0-2 2-13

Why isn’t Monmouth above Hampton?!! Is this an error/oversight or some CAA quirk I’m missing?

Winning percentage is ZERO for both so that would be considered a tie. Looks like they use the overall record for placement when there are ties in the standings if you look at the other teams.

RE: MBB Standings Question
The teams with 1.000 league winning percentages are placed alphabetically, as are the ones with .500 percentages. But, the .000 percentage teams look out of order (not placed alphabetically or by overall record). Seems a little off….will blame on New Year’s Eve!

Just hope you don't have to worry about it next year for the Camels....04-cheers

Ha! Thanks, 82!

I see they went in this morning and re-arranged them into a more-expected order. Impressed with the CAA’s website.

RE: MBB Standings Question
Maybe it was sorted by Division 1 record? That would explain why Elon was placed last.

RE: MBB Standings Question
Actually, the problem is that the CAA isn't good with numbers OR letters. The site currently has the UNCW logo sorted in the "N"s (for "North", that's okay) but for many years they had the UNCW logo sorted in the "W"s (for "Wilmington"). What's worse, though, is that the site had UNCW sorted before W&M....which was wrong, of course, because William sorts before Wilmington.

They also haven't updated the Championships link since Joey D came aboard about 5-7 years ago.

EDIT -- Hallelujah! They finally updated the Championships link ...sometime this school year (since Sept. 2022).
