I didn't attend the game with Lourdes because I'm getting over a cold and didn't want to spread germs but I watched the replay on BCSN. It reminded me of a time when they regularly covered Rocket sports until Learfield came into the picture. I've asked and no one seems to know: How much do we pay Learfield to market our sports teams and what measurable good have they done for us?

I don't think UT pay Learfield, I think Learfield pays UT. Then Learfield gets a cut from sponsorships & money they bring in.

And I don't believe BCSN can regularly broadcast UT games because of the MAC deal with E$PN, nothing to do with Learfield. I think games against non-D1 teams must not be covered by the E$PN deal because I saw that one of bgSUCKs non-D1 games was streamed on YouTube via WBGU-PBS.
