Line now SIU-E -2 1/2. Which team will show up? The first half team from the S. Indiana game or the second half team. I think this will be a very telling game. We either buck up and come to play or our year is done and we fail to compete.

I agree this is a crucial game...hopefully Barnes is in full form. Takes the pressure off Russell and Harris to try and force too much.

A win!! We foul a lot but that was a fun 2nd half, let's hope this can get us going a bit

What a sequence at the end. Now if Russell can harness that energy solely into pumping up the team and not slapping hands with fans...

This was a good game. They didn't have one of those 8 or 9 minute stretches where they can't make a shot. They got to the line and made 75% of their free throws. Different guys stepped up and hit big shots at different times when needed....Branson, Johnson, Earley, Harris, Larsen and Russell. When it came down the stretch, Russell was the best player on the floor (even though he got a silly T). Clark did his thing on the glass. It was a good all around game for SEMO.

I also liked that midway through the second half when Russell hadn't scored much yet, instead of firing up shots and trying to get his points, he kept driving and bringing people to him and dishing to teammates for open shots. Then he started getting to the line and scoring. Then to close it out he got steal and created his own scoring opportunity. He played a great all around game.

Don't forget Branson. A really good game from him. 5-6 from the floor, 2-3 from the arc, and 2-2 from the line for 14 points. 6 rebounds and 3 assists and only 1 foul in 28 minutes.

Agreed, that was probably Branson's best overall game he has had as a Redhawk.
