The Bulls have made the MAC proud by winning their last 2 Bowl games but this one will be a huge challenge. It's crazy but UB is going to be down 17 players...who have entered the transfer portal, committed to new programs already or have opted out to prepare for the NFL draft.

Ex-Bulls QB Kyle Vantrease leads GA Southern and has had a record setting season for the Eagles. He leads the Sun Belt in yards per game and passing yards per game. Much of the UB starting secondary have opted out so I'm sure Vantrease will be throwing often to test these new guys.

Gonna need to crank up the offense today. Go Bulls!

Geesh 17... I've heard recently to my surprise that Mo L. had been a rumored hot name. He won't be able to sustain even 6 wins year over year with that turnover. I saw he got some good recruits coming in, but Buffalo was very much a half team in 2022. Also a streaky one. You can't take 3 quarters off today. GaSo is solid.

Great first half for the Bulls to lead 14-6. Stuffed GA Southern twice inside the 10 and they settled for FG's. Hopefully they keep it going.

This is what the 4th MAC bowl game I've watched (missed TOL).

Miami and BG's games were sub-par. The four competing teams didn't look so great.

The rest of the games featured really solid teams and good games.

Nice seeing about the Eagles (Ga. Southern Eagles) fans there. The game has a lot of excitement. This is a friend or foe game (Ga. Southern QB).

The beginning of the 3rd Qtr was an epic disaster on O and D for the Bulls. Now 14-14 and the Eagles offense is getting untracked.

UB goes up 6 after a huge fumble in GaSo territory. Snyder looks like a solid MAC QB thus far. Better than Vantrease who seems all or nothing. He led GaSo history books in yards and TDs but leads nation in INTs. Their history is filled with 3Option QBs... so not really an inditement on his specific talent, but new scheme.

Ugh. How do QBs miss such easy throws sometimes? Snyder has been solid today but you can't miss a wide open pitch and catch TD like that.

UB goes up 20-14 halfway through the 3rd instead of 24-14.

UB holding on for dear life here... 4:10 to go GA So has 1st and goal down by 9. Still plenty of time to score and possibly get the ball back. Cmon Bulls stop em.

Hoping the Bulls can pick up a few first downs and kill the clock but I have bad feeling GS will get the ball back and make things very interesting. Lets go Buffalo!

My sister went to Ga Southern many moons ago, and they spanked BG in a bowl a few years back, so this was some sweet MAC revenge.
