RE: WAY OT: Consumer Reports shows dangerous levels of metals in dark chocolate
"lead levels were low soon after beans were picked and removed from pods but increased as beans dried in the sun for days. During that time, lead-filled dust and dirt accumulated on the beans. “We collected beans on the ground that were heavily loaded with lead on the outer shell,” DiBartolomeis says."

This is what happens when first world delicacies are grown and processed in third world countries. I imagine the high levels of cadmium in the soil are a result of bad industrial practices and contaminated ground water, as well.

I love dark chocolate. As long as I don't glow in the dark I'm ok.

Yeah I know no radiation...yet.
