Game planning and bowl game prep on the agenda for Bryant Vincent
Article by Steve Irvine:

I hoped (and expected?) that Vincent would handle the difficult situation of this transition from him to Dilfer with class. From all indications, he did at the team meeting on Wednesday, as he is in this interview with Irvine. I know he is hurting, but he has to realize this is par for the course for his chosen profession. It wasn't that long ago that he got fired from the OC position at South Alabama.
His genuine character will be on display for all to see through the transition, and even in how he leads the players to respond to their new coach. Here's a quote from this article:
“I think, at that moment, the situation we were in, that’s the opportunity that true leaders step in and do what’s right,” Vincent said. “What we’ve preached to the kids all season was to be steady in the storm, to not let situations define who you are. You define who you are through tough situations. I felt like, as the leader, that was an opportunity to truly show that football team that, in the toughest of tough moments, really what you’re about and what you stand for.”
