Men's game 9: Princeton
Prinecton enters the DAC at 5-2. They are 1-1 against the CAA to date, losing to Hofstra and beating Northeastern. They are a balanced scoring team, with 4 double digits scorers and a couple more close to it. They have 10 guys averaging double digits in minutes, so they play a lot of guys. They have 4 players averaging over 6 rebounds per game so they attack the basket for rebounds. However, they are only getting 13 assists a game so it appears to be potentially a lot of 1 on 1 type play, which is unusual for Princeton. They are not a good FT shooting team, at 67%.

They are a lengthy team. They have very guys under 6'6" so we will have to have good ball movement to find open guys. They will have a great propensity to block shots (averaging almost 5 a game), so this will be crucial into how this game unfolds.

Its EARLY, way too early. But Kenpom has Princeton ranked 138 currently (114 on offense and 164 on defense). Comparatively we are 185 (192 on offense and 184 on defense) in Kenpom . We will be underdogs, but it should be a game. But we will need Oden to have a good game and we need Amari to be rock solid down low. This is not a game to have Mate in standing in the corner.

Princeton- 74
Drexel- 68

Yeah, I don't feel too good about this game tomorrow. A much more talented Drexel team couldn't shut the door on them last year, and let the game slip away, twice. I'm still PO'd about that game. This Drexel team is just too mediocre, IMO. I do recall that last year's game felt like Amari's coming out party. Hopefully he can have another dominant game against The Tigers.

Worse than what I expected, but not surprising to say the least. It's tough to be too dissappointed in with today's awful result. I think what we saw these last two weeks is a microcosm of what the 2022-2023 Dragons are......MEDIOCRE. They'll play hard at times and play sloppy at times. They'll win some games against bad teams, and they'll lose games against good
teams. They're preseason prediction seems pretty spot on. Once CAA play starts, I'll expecting to see a team that finished between 10-8 and 8-10. Maybe they win a CAA Tournament game, maybe they don't. But we can't expect much more from this squad.

Let's be honest after all of our starters transferred or graduated this is going to be a tough year. Spiker really needs to hit on recruits, or we need a new leader next season.

I think most of us knew this would be an up and down season, no doubt. But we have enough returning guys that should be producing and just arent.
