That offense has been a dumpster fire for two straight years. They should have fired the coach's son already but nepotism prevails.

Brian Ferentz was hired by the AD and not his dad. The AD would have to fire him and we all know Kirk K controls the AD strings at Iowa.
They did this to try and avoid the nepotism look. That's my understanding of the situation.
