Sun Belt is 16th in that

I don't believe the NET ratings have been updated since the season has started, have they? The RPI has, but the NET looks unchanged.... or else Troy has been sitting at #189 for weeks.
NET doesn't even get adjusted until the first week of conference play I believe.
(found it - The men’s and women’s basketball NET rankings and team sheets will be provided publicly on a daily basis on NCAA.com and NCAA.org starting each December.)
in southern miss' case, that explains the overtly wide variance between NET and RPI ... again (and like baseball), I rarely get jacked about the early ranking thingy ... thanks for the info...

Why’s that? The SBC Commish made it known the SBC is a football first conference. The WAC has several schools whose primary objective is basketball. It will regress next year when one of those schools, NMSU, leaves. Additionally, football-focused Sam Houston has been on a tear, and they will also be gone next year.
The WAC also had big addition-by-subtraction in Chicago State and Lamar leaving (while UIW never joined).
The WAC is doing a bit better than projected, but most impartial analysts saw this as the likely outcome.
On the plus side, you should get a win over a WAC school in a week in Fort Worth.

Trashed Ohio tonight. Now 7-1. Bet the team would like to get that Queens game back.

Meanwhile, ULM handled business against Champions Christian College to the tune of 101-46. What is Champions Christian College you ask. Well, it's a private university in Hot Springs, Arkansas with an enrollment of 78. No, not 7800. 78 undergrads are enrolled at Champions. I really wish someone could make a reasonable argument to me as to why we would even schedule a game like this. Sure, it's pretty much an automatic "W" but for crying-out-loud, a mediocre intramural team would destroy Champions. ULM was once a formidable basketball opponent. We've made a few trips to the tournament. We've produced NBA players. We have a very proud basketball history and now it is just that......history.

I think the road Queens loss was a fluke
A road game with Duquesne this Thursday the 8th at 7:00pm will be our toughest matchup yet.
