UT’s five first-team selections were the most in the MAC. Offensive lineman Nick Rosi, defensive tackle Desjuan Johnson, linebacker Dallas Gant, and defensive backs Maxen Hook and Quinyon Mitchell were all named first-team all-conference.

Rockets Quarterback Dequan Finn, wide receiver Jerjuan Newton, defensive tackle Jamal Hines, linebacker Dyontae Johnson, and defensive back Nate Bauer were named second-team All-MAC.

(Ohio’s Tim Albion was named coach of the year, while his starting quarterback, Kurtis Rourke, was named offensive player of the year and running back Sieh Bangura was the freshman of the year.)

Is Rosi good? I dont know much about Oline play to know. But as a unit we dont look good, so how can you pick out a single player? Interesting. Thought Dooley at EMU was the best linemen we faced. We couldnt get around the right side of their line. Mostly facial pressure in that game. OU with 4 of the 6 top things, but Rourke being out makes it 2.

With that kind of talent, UT should have finished with only 1 MAC lost.

Rosi was a FWAA Freshman All American.
