I think most UAB fans like the Dilfer hire and want to buy in to what he says, but we're all acutely aware that we have not seen a single down of football with him as HC. Personally, I think the guy is going to kick arse, and that's not all looking through green and gold glasses.

On the other hand, looking at it realistically, UAB lost the NCAA rushing leader, their starting QB, the entire starting OL. We have a pretty tough schedule, including the National. AAC, and C-USA champs. It's the first season for a new college head coach, and we moved up a league.

6-6 would be a solid initial season for Dilfer, anything above that means that he and the new assistants did one helluva job.

That said - Let's Go!!!
