Zoe Fleck started her college career at UC Santa Barbara, and was on the 2019 team that lost to Texas in the 2nd round of the NCAAs. She transferred to UCLA. Then transferred to Texas. She's now a national champion.

Keonilei Akana played for the Nebraska team that beat Texas in the elite 8 last year. This year, she played for Texas and won a title.

Texas lost a starter to USC and another player to NCSU. They brought in 5 transfers according to this article: https://www.statesman.com/story/sports/2...772777002/

The portal may be having a bigger impact on volleyball than football.

Katie George is amazing, conference titles in three different conferences while playing for a university in your home town.

Agree. Let's bring this topic thread back next women's volleyball season.

Vanderbilt does not start competing until 2025-26 but I plan to be ready at that point with some basic knowledge of the national scene. I also plan to follow Belmont and Tennessee State volleyball some next season. TSU's roster from this just-concluded season offered a number of foreign players.
