if that's the best option, Ja!... one would be stupid not to pursue the $$$ ASAP ...

I've never understood 'why not'...

RE: QB Position in 2023
James Blackman will be gone. He was accurate, but never really a playmaker. He also was a very unwilling runner, and we need a dual threat.
The most likely candidate is prized recruit Jaxon Dailey. He played minimally in a couple of games, and looked...like a Freshman. Another valuable dual threat QB comitted, but I also expect to see some portal movement, if nothing else but for depth. There are serious holes in this roster.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see Chandler Rogers end up there in Jonesboro if we cannot hang on to him.

Well this year's starter graduates, so....

Whoosh

EDIT: Sometimes internet is tough for sarcasm. It was a dig at certain Marshall fans continuing to brag about Marshall's success and/or validate their struggles due to having a "backup" QB this year. I thought the quotes were enough to make that point clear.

it most certainly is at times...

I suggest using either of these 'guys' in the future ... /sarc 03-wink

Don't forget Keyes. I don't think we've seen enough of him to know if he's capable or not, but he was named QB1 for a reason.

I forgot about Keyes after the Liberty game. I guess with him being hurt he kinda went out of my mind.

Figured we'd be hitting the portal for QB prospects for next season. I believe this signifies the position will be wide open.

Also...either Chadwell is not leaving or Willy Korn will be the new head coach.

Twitter user was a Notre Dame fan or reporter. Didn't bother to look into it. He openly wondered "Notre Dame has an opening at QB and will be competing for a National Championship in 2023," and @ Grayson McCall.

Grayson's reply was basically "Look elsewhere bud"
