Tom Allen would probably be willing to move. He hasn't done as well at Indiana recently.

Hearing a lot of potential about Chadwell to Liberty today. He 100% fits their culture/faith profile having heard him speak on a few faith type podcasts.

Eric Morris from WSU loves all things screen passing plays so if LU is cool with that I'm sure they can figure something out. lol

I don't know if Liberty would pursue or if Dave Clawson would be interested, but I imagine Liberty could pay Clawson what he is worth. He is probably the best coach in the ACC with the talent he has. I am amazed he is still at Wake Forest.

Not sure what patterson wants with life, but he'd be an awesome add for anyone.

Does he fit with the values of Liberty? I think I read on another board where he basically shamed a player of strong faith while at TCU....I hope I'm wrong. And in his early 60's, would he want to pack up and move to Lynchburg, VA? He's a great coach, though.

I was on a Liberty board just now, and they're afraid he's going to go to USF. There are people there, though, that say that he has wanted the Liberty job for a while.

However, he has coached at both North Greenville and Charleston Southern. Liberty is much bigger than those two schools, but there are a lot of similarities. He knows the drill.

Any evidence of that, or was it just some dude to talked to another dude who heard it from a friend?

Regardless, Patterson is the reason TCU is where they are today, and he's the biggest reason for Texas' improvement this year. He should be on everybody's short list.

Multiple sources (rumors) are saying Jamey Chadwell is the guy. Supposedly there is a flight tracker out there from Charleston to Lynchburg.

Chadwell has to leave Coastal this year. McCall is on his way out, and they were sunbelt average prior to that.

A better word might be unproven or untrustworthy. We have a couple local reporters that I trust to report reliable information but the first person to report this that I'm aware of was a local student reporter.

A student news source from CCU I believe.

As LU scrambles to secure it's next HC, Chadwell would be a strong hire stabilizing the team as current players know about Coastal and Chadwell. His record at CCU has been impressive. LU would benefit from his selection and announcement Sunday or Monday as the next HC for the transfer portal and soon to be early signing period. With 8 reported coaches leaving LU and joining Freeze at Auburn, that opens the door for Chadwell to bring some of his assistant coaches along too without friction. He would be a good hire for LU.

Chadwell's deal is 5+ years at $4M a year. Team meeting called for later this morning. Chadwell has gone 39-22 at Coastal in 4 seasons with a conference title. Press conference tentatively for 3PM
