Very tight lipped. Article says that the board was investigating complaints against her and subsequently asked her to resign.

Speculation on Reddit is that it was financial impropriety because the timeline aligns with the conclusion of the university’s annual audit. I’m sure there will be a FOIA request communications dump soon.

Must be the first OSU President in ages to never see OSU beat Michigan.

I could be interested in the job…for the right price.

She was the B1G representative on the CFP Board of Managers. Maybe she was too receptive to the Rose Bowl and had to be removed.

It's not clear on what the main issues are between the board and the President?

I for one, enjoyed having her here and I am sad to see her go; though, not truly understanding the reasons for her resignation.

Since this is a college sports forum, I will say that she stood tall during the Covid year and was in the minority of the BIG Presidents on her beliefs. She seemed more aligned with the ACC, SEC and Big XII on how to handle the season and when it should/could safely start.

President Johnson was a Stanford grad and was raised in Colorado, but also had that appreciation for the Midwest. Her grandfather was an Ohio State grad and played football for the Buckeyes.

Hard pass on John Kasich. Matt Brown get my vote if I can’t have the job myself. I imagine he could plaster that campus with some Extra Points stickers.
