As part of the contract, will AU be furnishing new IPhones to Coach to ring up Kiki and Luscious from Off-the-Plains Escort?

I don't think the numb nuts admins and trustees have an inkling of the backlash which will happen over this hire, both in the locker room, and among the fan base. What this illustrates to me are two things. First, how out of touch with Auburn people they are. And second how much dirt Sexton must have on Rane and some other trustees to make this happen for Freeze when he was vulnerable, and he was vulnerable because otherwise he'd be making more than 6.2 million. Sexton played some cards to make this happen.

My takeaway is that the trustees need to be cleaned out, and Chris Roberts needs a much better feedback loop.

Nothing against you SouthEastAlaska, but I think I'm going to start issuing % warnings for every link which is behind a pay wall.

I don't know what this says, but the NYT and Auburn have had a pissing contest going on for nearly 40 years now. They print, we challenge, and they retract on some obscure page in the publication.

That caused Nutt’s lawyer, a bulldog named Tom Mars, to conduct a comprehensive public records search, including Freeze’s phone, as part of a lawsuit against the school. The escort numbers emerged."

Personally, I can't wait to see Cohen give Freeze the stroke and introduce him as coach...

...well, I think after Liberty beat Arkansas, that must have been the spot where AU contacted Freeze, as Liberty tumbled off the mountain quite rapidly from that point... ...and I would say that UConn is one of the more improved programs in the country... Mora will have them at 8-9 wins in a few seasons, if not NEXT season... just in time for UAB to play them in 2024... 03-banghead03-drunk

Ignore it Bryan, it was a poorly executed attempt to try to draw correlation between the debaucheries of the 1990's Dallas Cowboys and what might be coming to the Auburn Tigers with the checkered past's of Freeze and Pearl. All tongue in cheek of course but no one could even read the article.

The article itself was just a recounting of the craziness surrounding that organization during their superbowls in the 90s, culminating in the story about "The Whitehouse". If you didn't know that was a house owned by Cowboys players which essentially served as a brothel and flop house for members of the team.

Like I said I was just trying to have a little fun because I can feel the Auburn alums pain. Good luck to the Tigers

That's funny, there's an actual city in Texas named "Whitehouse", but it's a few hours away from dallas. I was kind of in a media blackout for the '90s though, I knew we won some super bowls but that's about it. I was focused on college for 5 years then starting my career the next 5 years, I didn't really rejoin the real world until the 2000s.

RE: Freeze to Auburn
Not surprising that they grab troublemakers for head coaches and players at Auburn. They grabbed Cam Newton after he was expelled from University of Florida's team for being arrested for stealing another student's laptop and thrown it out a window,
Are these big name Universities that desperate to do these things by getting people who have issues in the past? It seems that they care more about winning, and not about issues of the players and coaches that give the sport a black eye.
