RE: Final attendance numbers?
UWF has a very small capacity stadium and sometimes they play in the Blue Wahoos stadium which doesn't hold very much. That said however, you can't look at total number for them but rather percentage. Their Pensacola campus is 15% higher than their Mobile campus. We should swap UWF Pensacola for UWF Mobile. The city is better, the campus is better, they play better football.

With ECU, Marshall, GA So, Coastal, and I believe So Miss coming to Boone, '23 should be another good attendance year. Local FCS program Gardner Webb is game 6.

Yeah, right.
Probably half of that and we were averaging over 21K until the wheels fell completely off after 2014.

RE: Final attendance numbers?
On another note regarding attendance... Troy's AD gave an update on the SBC Championship Game, and said ticket sales for the game have been "robust"... the SBC office has made student tickets free for the game. They've also made tickets free for students of other SBC institutions I believe. There will likely be high student turnout, at least on Troy's end.

JMU did bring a lot of fans but the majority bought those on the secondary market, which is a different discussion altogether.
Why can't I? Attendance is butts in the seats, it's not who was clicking through payment prompts online. Sure, ODU drove ticket sales, but, JMU fans drove attendance. I'm sure some ODU fans went because their tickets didn't sell and I'm sure others would have gone if the tickets weren't going for a premium on secondary. So it's not a one-for-one offset but it doesn't matter if JMU bought tickets from JMU, or ODU, or on stubhub, or from the dude on the corner; JMU fans drove attendance.
No, the attendance is based on how you decide to report. Some schools report based on tickets scanned at the gate but the majority of programs report based on the amount of tickets sold directly through their ticket office. ODU reports tickets sold. So the secondary market has zero impact on that number and butts in seats doesn't impact it at all.

Esh, only average of 16k tickets sold last year? I figured that was butts in seats. Should be a nice revenue pop this year.

You are correct but I'll add Sold tickets PLUS student tickets/ID's scanned.

Proud of JMU (and its fans) for this. Last two home games were both during the Thanksgiving break, when the students were out.
