Would we be any worse off if Hillary was President instead of Trump or Biden? She surely wouldn't have done the amount of damage in two terms that Biden has done in only half of his first term.

Dude.

If she had gotten in we'd have been a smoldering pile of ashes by February 2017.

Absolutely. For starters, the Supreme Court would have a hard left wing tilt rather than a slight conservative majority. Just imagine what it would look like if Hillary would have appointed a third of the Supreme Court. Kennedy and Scalia would have been replaced by left wing activists judges like Ketanji Brown.

I don't mean this in a religious sense, because I am not a religious person. But I do believe that a nation has a soul, in much the same way that a person does. You cannot see the soul of a person or a nation, but it is reflected in how they behave and what they are willing to tolerate.

The nation's soul, as reflected in the Biden/Harris administration, appears to be weak and stupid. The nation's soul, as reflected in the Trump administration, appears to be self-centered and shallow.

Neither are anywhere close to as bad, in my opinion, as what would be reflected in the soul of the nation by the scandal and corruption of a Hillary/Kaine administration.

Keep in mind that if Hillary! had won in 2016, she would still be President right now. Six years down, two years to go.

The Supreme Court would be:

3 of the Sotomayor/Jackson group
3 of the Kagan/Breyer group
Roberts
Thomas/Alito

So every decision — Every. Single. Decision. — would come down 6-3 in the Left’s favor, except when Roberts is in one of his moods and decides to make it 7-2.

Not to mention that most of the lower-court judges — and Hillary! would have appointed over 300 of them by now — would be cut from the Sotomayor cloth, and they would know that they had the freedom to do whatever they wanted, without fear of reversal.

Yes, we would be in a much worse place if Hillary! had won. That is the nightmare which Trump prevented. I will always be thankful to him for that, no matter what else he did or didn’t do.

It's odd how someone whose background and upbringing was so solidly conservative and pro-GOP could suddenly swing 180 degrees. I wonder what happened to her.

She would never have been a better option than Trump but couldn't have hurt us much worse than Biden, and might have even helped some. At least with her you would know who you were getting every day.

At Wellesley, her senior thesis was a paper in praise of Saul Alinsky, so she had already rebelled against the beliefs of her family and fully embraced the Rules for Radicals crowd.

In most cases, unfortunately, I think it's more on the order of 4 microseconds at Wellesley followed by 3 microseconds at Yale Law. The indoctrination is very heavy at both places, which is why we need a Supreme Court with Justices from more than two law schools. With Barrett (Notre Dame) we now have 3 law schools represented on the Court.

Yeah, I should have denoted that as sarcasm.

Wiki has whitewashed that claiming that while she supported his ambitions she considered him as too radical to affect change from within. Blah blah blah...

She at least appears to have all her faculties, contrasted against Biden of course. But that bar is set low.

Outside of the conservative SCOTUS and judiciary appointments...probably not. Still...I'd hate to have to find out.
