Red Raiders won by losing 5 key statistical battles
This author (Zach Barnett) tracked every FBS game for the past two seasons (1,733 of them) and watched five statistics -

*rushing yards
*passing yards
*scoring first
*leading at halftime
*winning turnovers

Some of those are more indicative of victory than others, but until Saturday no team had checked all 5 of those boxes and lost. Oklahoma has now pulled that off with their 51-48 loss to Texas Tech, also marking the first time ever Tech has defeated Texas and Oklahoma in the same season.
