Half are ranked in the top 100, about the same % as for the AAC 1.0.

Eight of the wins are against non-D-1 opponents. The majority of the remaining wins are against low majors. The only notable wins were against FL and GA.

Charlotte beat Boise and current AAC member Tulsa (for whatever that’s worth). Not sure what’s going on with UNT, I know they had some injury issues to start the year, not sure if that’s still the case.

UTSA and Rice need to get better but I think the other 4 are quality or are moving in that direction.

Boise also lost to South Dakota St at home. Tulsa, unfortunately, is in a rebuilding mode. Beating both squads is unremarkable.

I gave a benefit of a doubt by including GA as they are outside the top KP 100.

We won an ugly trophy in OT tonight:

And here's the ugliest trophy in all sports, and it's ours for this year:

FWIW, 3 of UAB's losses came with our starting QB injured. The second of those was our backup's first college start. And another loss was to LSU.

Sucked, but that's the breaks sometimes.

Pretty sure this thread is about basketball and not football.

The incongruity of posting CUSA related items in an AAC forum flummoxed him. It is understandable. I have the same mental dissonance.

But if it came out of a pachyderm's behind, it would not be as cool.

Sorry - no Space discussion in a CUSA thread. We won "Space U" on the football field, and our special uniforms show that. But Space U plays basketball in the Patriot League.

We needed to have fired our HC last year. We’ve had some inexcusable losses so far. Admin also needs to get the ball rolling on a new arena and practice facility.
