Will Tulane Retain Fritz?
It sounds like Fritz is the leader for Ga Tech's football program.

Yes. And no he isn't. He is one of many names. Dude is in his 60s and last season went 2-10.

Fritz would be wise to stay at Tulane. The grass isn't always greener.

Hope Fritz stays! I know he has ties to Georgia. One of my favorite coaches in this league. At this stage of his career, doses if he want the last challenge or to put his name/legacy on Tulane's program. Choose wisely Coach!!

i hope fritz stays but i vividly remember him advocating for the HC position of another program while he was still coaching Tulane a few years back. He gone.

It took seven years to turn the corner. He won't have half that time elsewhere.

CWF has always been interested in the Kansas ans Missouri schools where he and his father coached. He is not a spring chicken and won't be on a lot of peoples list for that and won't drive a high price.

Mizzou won out to make 6-6. Early in the season, Drink was in trouble but so much right now.

RE: Will Tulane Retain Fritz?
Fritz isn’t going anywhere. We have the money to pay him if he gets any other offers but it would really have to be a very high level position like a Alabama type gig otherwise anything else is really just a lateral move and he knows that.

Hopefully yes, realistically no. Every AAC team with a good coach will probably lose them at some point. We've all been there. We are a stepping stone conference unfortunately.

Georgia Tech is a hard place to win at. Fritz better think it through.

Honestly I’m surprised GT couldn’t do better. It’s a no-brainer for Willie though. Get that bag while you can.

Sounds like he's left.

Tulane didn't try to raise him or counter offer? Pathetic. Maybe Fritz didn't want Tulane to do so.

RE: Will Tulane Retain Fritz?
Georgia Tech is a lateral move at best. The academics are there but no market. Georgia is bulldog country and always will be. Fritz will say no.
