Review of B12 trips for newbies
I hope in the next 2 -3 years to visit some of our new conference mates. We have been to Norman about 10 years ago and found the Sooners very hospitable. Been to WVU many times and never was treated badly, although a lot of UC fans will say differently.

No interest in going to short timer Austin.

Appreciate info about Ames, Waco, etc.

Thanks

Aames may have the best overall pregame and stadium atmosphere in the conference. I'd recommend a visit.

Lawrence is a nice college town. There’s a charming Main Street that is reminiscent of older times, albeit updated with many national brands among the local establishments.

KU football is on the rise although the game day setting there doesn’t yet match more established football programs.

I’m obviously biased, but visiting Allen Fieldhouse for basketball is a fantastic experience. It’s an old fashioned arena kind of like Hinkle. Wilt and many others played and coached there. The atmosphere is electric. For college hoops, it’s a “bucket list” venue.
