This would really suck for them. Tulane has been an awesome story. It's difficult not to root for them.

I'm torn. UCF+3 is the easiest money out there IF this is true.

Surely Fritz will coach the CCG, even if he’s accepted the GT job already. I would think what matters most is how the players react to him.

Yes, I’m assuming he will - when Scott Frost accepted the Nebraska job he still stuck around to coach our January bowl, no reason for him to leave before the Conference Championship game they’ve earned.

That was a super rare situation. Most teams move fast because they want their coach on the ground recruiting. With early signing day looming and transfers being the new norm, they are going to want Fritz in Atlanta for the next 2 weeks focused on the next class.

Pulling for Tulane here.

One of their o lineman from the Sean King days coached my kid in pee wee football here in Houston. Always been a fan.

Glad they put together a great season.

If it is a hamstring he won't be 100 percent in a week and that sucks because his main strength is running.

A Tulane win assures the NY6 BOWL for AAC. Unless you are an UCF fan I don't know how you don't pull for Tulane.

UCF is #22. Tulane is #18.

The winner of this is well inside the top 20 and in the Cotton Bowl. The NY6 game stays with the AAC.

First question in his press conf today was about the reports he was taking the Ga Tech job:

Sounds like he wants revenge on UCF and then he's going to try to get a retirement check.

Nothing against the Knights but have to pull for Tulane.

I suppose I should support future B12 mate UCF, but I kinda like little Tulane. I’d like to see them have their moment in the sun.

UTSA won't be adding a road top 20 win like UCF will. That will make the difference.

Just wanted to come here and say that the loud UCF fans on twitter come across as real losers. It's embarrassing the way they insert themselves everywhere. And most of the profiles for these losers are all very similar. Bot-like even. Big directional school vibes.
