This should be done against a better basketball conference. The SBC is garbage in hoops. Even though the MAC has had a bad few years, it is still night and day a better basketball league than the SBC, with far more history and success. No thanks to this agreement, it really does nothing for the MAC. MAC teams will be expected to win, and if they don't it's an embarrassment. This only helps the SBC..... Did we not learn anything from scheduling bowl games against them in the past? For a long time the SBC was clearly the worst league full of FCS transitioning teams, but the MAC agreed to play bowl games against them knowing full well there was nothing to gain other than more bowl access. Bad move.... MAC leadership also fumbled on Men's soccer.... Why get rid of the only sport the league has a NCAA championship in? Really!? They should have been doing everything they could to keep Akron & WMU as part of the MAC in soccer.

Truth must be funny to Marshall fans that never, ever did a thing to help elevate the MAC in basketball. Constantly finished at or near the bottom of the league each year. Did the Terd ever actually win a game in Cleveland? You can leave now troll.
