Rough start for MAC. At this point any win is a big win. Ohio struggled early vs EIU. Better last ten minutes to secure the win. With the roster turnover its going to take time. Most of MAC in same boat. Lots of roster turnover and struggling to find consistency. Ohio should be much better in a couple months. The bench is a work in progress. starting five looks decent then the bench comes in and it is a disaster each nite. Today the bench was better than what we seen in four games. By better they looked like they picked up a basketball before. Was not the case in first few games.

No problem. I watch way too much MAC basketball and figure it’s nice to have one place to track who’s playing where and how to watch haha.

The Flashes visit #2 Houston early this afternoon on ESPN+. Fortunately, there are no other interesting sporting events on at that time to divide our interest.

MAC splits first 2 games as Cleve St blows out WMU but BSU picks up a solid neutral court W over Missouri St. Miami with a big lead on Little Rock.

Broncos look just as awful as they’ve looked the previous few years. There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel with this program.

Are you freaking kidding me with that intentional grounding call?? UB had a receiver right there. What an awful time to make an awful call like that too. I swear MAC refs just make up rules as they go along. Our chance at getting 15 more yards and a possible game winning field goal was taken away by that call. Now it's going to OT.

The play they ruled an incomplete pass for Kent State sure looked like a fumble too.

And does Linguist have any clue how to close out a game?

I mixed up the game threads when I in a hurry. Sue me.

And I haven't complained about a single game this year. I did mention one call during the Central Michigan game after George mentioned a call going UB's way. He agreed too. Both teams got a crucial call that game so it evened out. It's only OK when Ohio and Toledo fans complain about calls apparently.

The refs in the Kent State weren't awful all game but those two calls were a complete joke. I don't know how anyone watching that game can not agree those were two completely awful calls in their favor. The announcers lit the refs up over that grounding call too. I can't assume UB would've got in field goal range anyway without it (we wouldn't even be worrying about it if UB didn't play like conservative bums with a two TD lead halfway through the 4th), but that was just a poor call. As was the no fumble call earlier in the game. Either way that was a complete meltdown by UB in the 4th quarter yet again. Linguist has no idea how to coach.

Ohio went up 20 in the first half, but let Alabama State cut it to as little as 7 in the second half. Ohio eventually pulled away again winning 72-58. Dwight Wilson did not play today. AJ Clayton with a 13 point 11 rebound double double.
