Of the North Texas projections, I'd prefer the Armed Forces Bowl against Houston. That would be a well attended bowl (I'd guess easily 30K plus between the UNT & Houston fans). And since Houston isn't quite that good this season, UNT might not get completely embarrassed.

I just hope we don't get stuck in one of the bottom of the barrel Sun Belt bowls.

Watched the weekly deadpan interview of Stock. Chris Harris (Channel 4 sportscaster), asked if MT needs to win over FIU and get to "7" wins to actually insure going Bowling. Stock appeared to be offended and said "No. We're already in a Bowl. We won't talk about Bowls and stuff like that until next week!"
Probably already has his Hawaiian shirt packed. Somebody ought to remind Stock, he's been left out on 3 occasions when he was just "Bowl Eligible"!

These projections are almost never accurate and usually aren't even worthy of the amount of discussion they often get, so don't give up hope yet.

He’s an f’n moron. He’s offended because he’s already reached his goal. He made it. Six wins baby. Mission Accomplished!! Pack it in and get ready for another exhilarating watch the grass grow season next year.

What I’m really looking forward to is seeing if Miami can get bowl eligible and get a bowl invite while we stay home. Just like when we curb stomped Georgia Tech and they got our bowl game with a worse record while we spent bowl season as nothing but spectators.

Apparently, the winner of tonight's game between Bowling Green and Miami (OH) will earn the MAC's invitation to the Bahamas Bowl. That makes playing in that bowl even worse for whichever C-USA team gets sent there.
