I'm trying to think of a single reason why I should believe App State can win this game. They've been atrocious on the road since the second week of September. I think Georgia Southern comes out with their hair on fire. Eagles by plenty.

Because it’s Hate Week, and a bowl game is on the line, and losing means the final game a bunch of seniors will ever play. Either you win and go bowling, or you lose and enter the workforce.

Hate Week hits a little bit differently when both teams are mediocre...

This game desperately needs to be moved back to October where it will actually have some meaning. The odds of both teams coming into a season ending game at 10-1 or better are incredibly low, but if we played this game on October 15, we both would be 3-2 and still in the hunt and both fanbases would still be engaged.

Plus the fact that even if both teams are 11-0, College Gameday will NEVERRRRR go to a Sun Belt matchup when Ohio State-Michigan, Alabama-Auburn, Florida State-Florida, etc are all on that weekend. Get this back to October where it belongs.

I have no doubt we'll come out with our hair on fire. That might be literal though.

I’m taking App State on this one. We’ve been atrocious on offense due to injuries. We now have neither Gerald Green or Jalen White at RB and no Kennerson, Jones, or Burgess at WR. It’ll be very ugly.

This isn’t near as much fun when we’re trying to out sandbag the other.
