WBB Game 3: Maryland-Eastern Shore
After a tough loss to La Salle our women return to the DAC in a game that should not be much of a game. But should be a nice bounce back game to continue figuring things out. Amy is great at playing with different roster combinations, so I expect us to start out slow while we try to see what some other players can do on offense. I expect Kei and Kylie to have big games. Kei could use a good shooting game to find her shot.

I plan to attend this game tomorrow afternoon.
Lainey Allen, who I watched help Plymouth Whitemarsh win the PA 6A state title last year, is on the UMES roster. She's a 6'2" forward and has played in all 4 games thus far off the bench averaging 2.8 ppg. Hoping there will be a huge PW contingent at the game tomorrow and that she will get significant minutes in front of her hometown fans.

Dan was on the mark with his Arcadia prediction but not so much with this one.
Drexel got a bit of a reality check today, but that's OK early in the season as long as they get the W. These MEAC teams traditionally give Drexel fits, just like when they faced NFSU in the WNIT last year. UMES was MEAC WBB to a tee. Stong, swarming, scaptty defense. Awful shooting. UMES got the late lead and had numerous opportunities to pull off the massive upset today, but they shot just 6 for 20 the forth quarter and 3 for 8 from the line in Q4, while shooting just 8 for 17 from the line for the game. Drexel didn't shoot well from the field today but went 19 for 24 from the FT line to seal the win. Keishana did Keishana things again today with an incredible 37 points and going 19-24 from the line by herself.
Next up is Lehigh at the DAC on Tuesday night.

Yeah not great, but we got the result. We need other to really step up still. Glad we avoided a disastrous loss.
