Men's game 3: Arcadia
I dont even know if these games count officially. I hate them. Everyone hates them, but they still show up and is common across basketball. This needs to be a game to figure ourselves out and not play down to the competition. We really need Lamar Oden and Mate Okros to add something. This is a game for them to find their shooting stroke. We need to find way to get our guards going where Amari is not the only offensive choice. Moore has been great so far, but we need more than that. Lets hope we see something positive tonight

Arcadia- 48
Drexel- 85

RE: Men's game 3: Arcadia
The game does count officially-statistics from these game count.

The reason they have proliferated in recent years is because of changes in the rules for the early season tournaments. To summarize my understanding: every team can play 27 non-exempt games and up to four games in an exempt tournament or 2 additional non-exempt games. Since a lot of the tournaments are bracketed 8-team tournaments that only give 3 additional games. I think the choice to get the fourth game is to play a non-bracketed game against one of the other teams or a nonD1 within 14 of the tournament. Playing the non-D1 gives all the teams a chance to have a home game. I believe some tournaments require a non-D1 as a condition of participating.

Dan pretty much nailed the prediction on this one. I just saw the first half, and I'm not sure if I even need to bother going back to watch the 2nd half. Drexel did what they were supposed to do against a DIII team. We got to see some significant minutes from some new guys like MaGee and Hargrove. Turner got the start and played 26 good minutes. And it was great timing that they could give Williams a night off with his sore knee and hopefully he'll be ready to go for the Florida trip.

With Amari out there were really only a few goals. How will we move the ball and score without him? Can our upperclassmen get right against this competition? Escape uninjured

Goal 1: Very balanced scoring. Everyone got involved. Check.
Goal 2: Lamar and Mate still really struggled at times, but they made some shots and didnt totally look lost. Semi check.
Goal 3. Check.
