KSU needs a new head coach!
I think it is time to move on from coach Bo and the TO. Who should we get to be the next head coach?

I was thinking Dan Mullen or WVU coach Matt Brown. Luke Fickell offensive coordinator Gino Guidugli comes in mind as well.

Tyson Helton would be a great choice if winning 7 games most years and one or two more every few years is what you are looking for.

If winning CUSA championships is important then look else where. But if above average is the goal....come offer him 1.3 to 1.5 and take him. Personally I'm greedy when it comes to sports and winning a championship is more important than average or above average most years.

The fired wvu coach would be a terrific hire if KSU moves on from Bo.

I don't think I see the appeal of fickells OC. It's not the most exciting offense even though they have a talent advantage more often then not. He's never coached in the south, so who knows if he'd be any good at recruiting the area. It's also his first year as even a coordinator.

Disappointed to see this because I was hoping BB would be a candidate for the UAB job. Didn't realize he'd finished 5-5 this season.

Yeah. It's a bummer thinking Saturday might be bo's last game coaching KSU.

“Coach Bo” was always a Big South merchant, kind of like the scammer program at Kennesaw. Never could do it under the lights! The ETSU loss is a fitting way to remember the tenure.

If Bryan Vincent doesn’t get the UAB he would be a good coach. He was put in a tough situation and has grown has a Coach. He is a great recruiter and a wonderful person.

It was over for me a couple years ago with coach Bo. That ETSU embarrassment cemented it for me.

Coach Bo is good at building a program. He did great for us and building this from nothing. I think that is his niche in college football. He is an outstanding Big South coach. But that is his ceiling. At some point KSU fans have to moral victories aside and actually want some sort of expectations and standards for the program. We are about to play with the big dogs now we need a coach that is at that caliber. Bo is not that. He is not competitive in even the ASUN. He is a big South coach. You can tell.. there has been zero mention or excitement from him for a great growing step for our athletic department. Overton gained a lot of respect from me with how he strategized this move and I think Bo is next on the list and coach Bo probably knows it.

This seems like a thread for a KSU board?

This is so true. Coach Bo is trying to chase Paul Johnson Ghost. KSU always had FBS in mind. Coach Bo wanted to due what Paul Johnson did at Georgia Southern at KSU but the FCS is not the same as it was back then. He does not want KSU to move to the FBS because that means that he cannot forefill his dreams. That is the reason why he as not shown any excitement regarding the move. It think he is some what losing on purpose to show Overton that we should not move up. His passion is not the same as previous years. I remember when he got mad that we lost to Kent State in OT by 3 points and now we are getting blow out by AP and he does not even care.

Seems like a good topic for a C-USA member board to me.

But y’all soured on your coach after only one bad year right? Hasn’t he been pretty lights out good prior to this? The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

The offense KSU runs is not sustainable to win bowl games and C-USA chips

Some Coordinators just don’t make good Head Coaches. Muschamp falls into that category. He was a disaster at Florida and South Carolina.
