RE: New MBB DOBO
Was Lamonta Stone former head coach at Bowling Green too? Or was he an assistant there?
Also, did his son play at EMU? What happened to him? I thought he was a big get for us. But I don’t remember him playing?

LaMonta was an asst coach at EMU under Jim Boone. Also an asst coach at BG.
His son was at EMU for less than one season, I believe. Don't know what happened.
I thought he was overrated as a prospect. Very short. Most players his height don't make it. There are exceptions like Boykins. Howard has one, Elijah Hawkins, but he played very well at DeMatha H.S. and if you can play there you can play anywhere. BTW, Hawkins was one year behind a player by the name of Hunter Dickinson, in case you've heard of him. Yes, Dickinson is from DeMatha, from a D.C. suburb.
One of the big things about Stone is his contacts within h.s. and colleges. Don't know if there are any other Rouge grads, beside, Geeter, playing D-I ball?
