Lee Corso
It's beginning to look like 2022 will be the last year for Lee Corso on College Game Day.

I would expect him to announce his retirement when he returns and would not be surprised if he only shows up for the last game of the season.

It was a sad day when we lost "Whoa Nellie" and now it is beginning to look like we will see "Not So Fast My Friend" for the last time in 2022.

I hope this is not the case as I grew up watching Corso on Game Day, but Father Time is undefeated. Sad if this ends up being true.

I used to really like Lee until he decided to attack Cincinnati the past three years. Lee coached at Indiana and Louisville so maybe there are still some old wounds.

It’s well past time for him to retire. Grew up watching game day as a kid and he will always be remembered. Go out with a bang at the Army/Navy game day this year and enjoy the rest of your years.

His star has long passed being faded. Time for him to hobble off into the sunset. I have been a fan but he is too old.

Corso is the best! I don’t think anyone matches the energy and passion he brings.

He might be a UCF Celebrity Guest Picker if Gameday visits Orlando. He’s been a big supporter in recent years.

RE: Lee Corso
Sorry to see him go if it is his last year. He has had a good run with Herbie and the boys but as with all of us one day, it appears that father time has caught up with him. Wish him the best if he can't physically return with his current health issues. 04-cheers 01-ncaabbs 04-bow 07-coffee3

Same here.

I watch the show every week and don't recall LC attacking UC. Please provide examples.
