Good night for AAC basketball, overall. 4-1 so far, including a potential Q1 win by Temple. SMU kept it close @ Dayton until the closing minutes, and USF is only down by 7 to (#15) Auburn late in the second half.

Good showing tonight for the AAC, along with Temple bouncing Nova, UCF beat a P5 school, SMU didn't embarrass itself at Dayton and had the game tied with 5 minutes to go but ran out of gas, similar for USF at Auburn. League looking better than day one made it appear...

Emoni has 27. Playing great in his first game (sat out EMU's opener for some reason). Not much D and 0 assists, but shooting well.

Michigan looked sluggish at times. But they're up 7 with 20 seconds to go. Then Bates hits a 3. 87-83 Michigan. 88-83 final.

I will say this, that game does not translate well for winning basketball. If all you contribute is scoring, if you are having an off night shooting, even Steph Curry has off nights, you contribute nothing to your team winning.
