Love it, and it's nice to be getting in to some games worth watching our conference mates. Watched most of the second half for this one, hopefully can catch some of GSU tomorrow once I get back from Norfolk, some winnable P5 games Monday and Tuesday... Keep those scalps coming!

Unfortunately the Jags drop a close one to a typically good New Mexico team. It was 76-74 with 34 seconds left but the Jags lose 80-74

Buffalo closed the gap a bit in garbage time. Looking more and more like JMU is for real... Sure hope so. Gotta think UNC has JMU circled on their calendar at this point as the Heels' toughest remaining opponent right?!

AState is strangely playing LSU very close in Baton Rouge.

Damn, wish GSU could've pulled it off but at least it looks like good showings from the Panthers and Redwolves. I'm hoping we've got some real legit teams this year that can kickstart the hoops turnaround.

Played hard against LSU, almost came out with a win.

We had our chances tonight. It was a decent showing overall, we just need to hit more shots. The team clearly has some room to jell. I'm hopeful for the year.

Louisiana defeated Harvard friday in the first round of the Asheville Tournament. They'll play East Tennessee State for the title at 4:30 E, 3:30 C. Game will be televised on ESPNU (Sunday afternoon)

TXST beat Rhode Island 70-66 on the road yesterday. URI was a 7.5 pt favorite and it was a buy game for Texas State (Coach Johnson: "we made money on the trip after travel expenses").

Louisiana defeats ETSU 81-77 to win the Asheville Championship and moves to 3-0 on the year. We look pretty good early.

Clearly we're a basketball league.....

I think it's pretty clear we wont be getting a 16 seed this year.
