I think refs did call one or two against Marshall that shouldn’t have been called and one they didn’t call against us that should have been. Something else I noticed twice and not sure if anyone else did, but the ref moved the ball back about 6 inches after the first ref spotted the ball. I thought you only saw that in high school games.

Just want to say what a classy move it was for App to have stickers on their helmets and for coach Clark to have the team assemble at midfield. Big kudos and thanks. Good luck the rest of the way.

Huff addressed those things in his press conference, talked about how classy the APP program was/ is in every aspect including their fan base. While all teams have better years than others, and with all due respect to all teams in the conference, year in and out you have to beat APP to win this conference.

Is the one they didn’t call the face mask on Fancher on the 3rd down run in the 4th that allowed you to get the ball back for the last drive attempt?

I'm hanging this map in my office. It's the same map as the 3 piece large map that's in the Rotunda at UVA. The Associate Director of the Rotunda was gracious enough to help me find the exact map when I emailed her.

I stopped watching right before then, so I didn’t see that one. I did see a two hand grab of the face mask in the end zone earlier right in front of the ref and nothing was called. Refs have been pretty bad this year and have had impact on games. Not specifically this game, think you guys beat us and probably had more unfavorable calls against you. But it happened in our JMU game and seen it in other Sun Belt games.

The one I referenced is the only one that I really shook my head on. It was out in the open, turned his head around and there were at least 2 officials staring right at it. Thought my eyes were tricking me, but when they replayed it there were a good 3-4 fingers inside his helmet.

Didn’t end up impacting the outcome, but I would have been pretty sour if you guys scored on the last drive. Almost as mad as I was at our offense snapping the ball with 31 seconds left on a 40 second clock with a minute and a half left on the previous play.
