If so, our 'beat reporter (on campus)' is dead on with his sources.

Hint: Those closest to EMU, West Campus, etc. are likely to have the best info. Not us living 100 or 500 or 1,000 miles away. This is especially true of students who may know one of what 400 plus student athletes at EMU. Also parents of athletes and students who may have some interest in athletics.

Women's team is now 5-0, beating undefeated NDSU by 18.

I decided to tune in tonight as they played a legitimate opponent in North Dakota State.

This is a real TEAM.

One of the frustrating things about previous Castro teams has been the tendency to be star-focused, even though there was a lot of talent on the roster. Tonight this team put the clamps on a good offensive team in the second half and came out with its best win of the season.

Great overall gameplan and adjustments by Castro and his staff for this one. Hope they can keep it going.

I'm not sure I'd call this loss awful... But it does feel like one that slipped away.

This team is so much more enjoyable to watch than those of the last few seasons. An actual team.

It stinks to lose today. I think we can be a threat if we can get all our players back and continue to spread the ball around.

Now... to figure out what that technical was for.

Even though the W-L record has improved, the coaching still has room for improvement.

I've heard of that before, but haven't heard of it being missed in decades. Not very common penalty.

Watched that Toledo game against U-M game last night. Wolverines looked like they didn't respect the Rockets at all coming in. It ends as a double-digit win for the Rockets if the officials don't keep Michigan in it.

Actually TOL is red hot this year.

The ladies did not play well today. Lost by 6 to North Dakota u. Out rebounded and out shot 37% to 28% from the floor. Missed a lot of layups.

Nothing wrong? My college intramural team would be undefeated playing that schedule...Sunday morning at 9:00 AM...hung over. The "much maligned" men's team would be undefeated playing that farce of a schedule, Emoni would be averaging 35ppg and Super would be criticizing him for dunking too much.
