I thought UVU women might have kept the score closer, but their 4th and 5th runners couldn’t compete with the depth CBU has.

On the men’s side, it was a very dominant CBU win, with a close race between Southern Utah and Utah Valley for 2nd.

The CBU women are probably the most competitive team nationally of any in the WAC. They will most likely finish the season ranked in the 12-15 range. I don’t believe any WAC teams in any highly contested sport have finished the season ranked that highly in quite a number of years. (Exception may exist in Water Polo etc)

I have been quite impressed with CBUs athletics overall.

I think it will be very interesting if Cal Baptist can get a bid to the NCAA's. The fact that they are in the NCAA West is a slightly easier road ahead of them, than if they were in the Mountain West region. Stanford is obviously ahead of them, but they have a chance.

If they don’t get an auto, I think their at large chances are strong.
